Dance Dance Revolution Collab

"I've had this idea in my head for a LONG time, but I suck with flash, so hear me out.
I think a DDR collab would be awesome. In the collab, the controls would be the keypad on the keyboard for the notes. (Or you can do Guitar hero for this idea, whatever) You would have multiple people do music videos for songs in flash. Then, the music videos would be fitted with steps or notes. (Pertaining to the song, not the actual video) We then add programmers to the mix to make menus, come up with the system, and all that is needed. And, Tada! we have the DDR/Guitar Hero collab."

"Racing" Collab

"I was thinking about a "racing" collab (no real name yet) however it wouldnt be just ramdom skits, there would be a group of 6 or something animators, we think up of 4-6 cars to be racing, and then someone starts it off, and animates the cars racing in part of a track in a Wacky Races manner (it doesnt have to be limited to that manner, but crazy items and traps should appear) then after the first animator animates a bit, the next one picks the animation up from where the other one left (like the go on collab), and then can continue the track, change the positions of the cars, and so on, ending up with a fun collab, that should be fun to watch and really display diferent animation skills and styles...the track could either be decided as the collab goes, or could be planned before..."

The third and final part of the EPIC art collab series in which we draw tools and screws and poop like that! All Ad Rev is going to charity and it will be the greatest thing ever! Really, you will kick yourself and be sad for at least 3 hours if you let this opportunity slip by!

General rules: No porn or spam. There will also be a single audio track behind everything so no background sound as well. Ill be opening up suggestions for songs once we get closer to the end.

Just to reiterate, you have 120 Frames to make something funny, awesome, silly, sad, whatever. I know there have been collabs similar to this before, and they are usually really fun to be a part of. You can make multiple parts and I am aiming for 75 parts total, but if there have to be less then we shall work with it!

DEADLINE:
This collab has turned into an ongoing collab. What does that mean? It means take your time with your parts. Anyone can join as long as they put quality into their work. I will keep a list of completed parts below. I will submit this collab once I get enough parts to make a solid collection!

WHAT IS THIS:
The idea here is to visit the Voice Acting section of the Newgrounds Audio Portal, and find a piece you find funny, sad, awesome, etc, and animate it. The part can be of any length. I understand that some of the better selections are long stories that can last from 4-5 mins. If you dont want to take on such a challenge that is fine. There are plenty of demos and short reels where you can take out parts of the audio and use it to animate. Be creative and have fun! Try to stay away from pieces that have been used in flashes already. Also, post the piece that you intend to use in order to claim it for yourself. Ill keep a list of people and their parts.

HOW TO GET ME YOUR PART
Load your .fla onto the Dump and post a link here along with a link to the Voice Acting you used, or you can PM me that info.

Coauthors will be decided on QUALITY!

These are collabs you should join. In other news, I am back home in the states and chillin all cool like at my house. Still in a transition process but I should be able to actually start getting more stuff done. Woohoo right?

I am sitting here at an Undisclosed South West Asia Location waiting for my flight back home. Hopefully ill be back in the USA come the 28th-ish. Hope everyone is kicking ass and all that. Now that I am heading home maybe ill have time to plan this years Atlanta Meet. Who knows?

So my time here in Iraq is coming to an end and ill be leaving here soon. Sad times I know. I wanted to look back and reflect on what I was able to accomplish while here. So HERE WE GO!

I created two new solo movies! A shape movie: Unnecessary Rolling, and another odd one, UMoN:DUcks!

I started two brand new and exciting collabs! The Screw Collab 3: You're a Tool, which is an art collab about screws and tools and whatnot, and the Voice Actors Are People, Too Collab, which takes VA pieces from the AUDIO portal and has animators animate them!

I took part in Gam Jam #2 and voice acted THIS awesome song for The Pyre.

I was able to get some voice acting done for the Christmas flash, The List.

I also reworked one of my old voice acting pieces and came out with, The Fat Joker-Redux.

Personal/Professional related:

While here in Iraq I was promoted to the rank of Tech Sargent. Also, I started the P90X program and got in pretty good shape. I also passed my PT test with a 97.1. In which I ran 1.5 miles in 10:36, the best time of my carrier/life!

All in all I am happy as hell that I am getting out of this place, but I am happy with what I have been able to get done! Hopefully it can keep going. Until next time....
