Usually I use this front page post to talk about projects I am working on or to advertise something I have done, but today I wanted to talk about Newgrounds.
I came to Newgrounds for the first time back in 2000, but I didn't start coming on a regular basis until 2001. I was hanging out with a buddy and he wanted to show me a funny cartoon he saw. He pulled up Newgrounds.com, and on the front page was this. We watched it a bunch of times and laughed our asses off. I started going to Newgrounds about once a week after that.
After a couple of years I finally created a profile. Originally my username was Mitcheybrown. Back when we could change our names whenever we pleased. Luckily I decided to switch to ForNoReason. Good decision? I joined because I wanted to write reviews and pimp my stupid side projects, that had nothing to do with NGs, on the forums. Like any stupid kid I was banned several times and I am amazed I didn't get my review rights stripped. If I ever had a chance to be a forum or review mod they were destroyed by the first 5 pages of my reviews and forum posts.
I started voice acting in 2006. This was my first piece. I wasn't given any credit, but it was a start right? Between half assed attempts at being "cool" and trying to make the greatest submission ever, I have written scripts, "coded" games, animated non-animated boxes and just been here hanging out.
After all these years I still keep coming back. Newgrounds has been with me for high school graduation, basic training, two deployments, getting married and many other events in my life. And the reason I keep coming back is waiting for Stamper to draw more cocks and cock related things.
Also, the community here is amazing. The talent, the personalities, the meet ups and events, everything that Tom and the staff have created are second to none. I honestly believe that my time here on Newgrounds has changed who I am, and I think many people could say the same thing.
