Atlanta Meet-Up

In case you haven't heard, I am putting together a little Newgrounds Meet-Up in Atlanta. The schedule of events have changed and I think you should go take a look. Let me know if you are coming and ill stick you on the list. Feel free to shout out suggestions or random bitchiness to be ignored and appreciated.

The previous plan for the 2010 Meet was a hot mess. The dates were kinda bad and the schedule kept changing. Let us pretend it never happened. Here is the OFFICIAL 2010 Atlanta Meet Up!
First and foremost I want to point out Atlanta's mass transit system, MARTA. This is the best way to get around town for anyone who lives here or is coming from out of town. They have shuttles to and from the airport and buses that run where the train doesn't.

For your convenience here is a list of hotels near and around the main meet area.

June 25th

I have to work late on the 25th, so I didn't officially plan anything. However, this doesn't mean people can't get together and have fun. Who knows, I might be able to swing in to wherever people decide to go. Once the event gets closer we can decide on doing something as a group or just wait until Saturday.

June 26th

Starting at 2 PM

Depending on when everyone gets into town the daytime events will be flexible. As the event comes closer we can see who wants to grab lunch or just hang out around the ATL. However, the evening events are as follows:

-Bar hopping around Little Five Points.

Little Five is an interesting and unique place to hang out and drink. There are many bars and fun places to check out. There is a Hookah bar plus a lot of cool shops and places to eat. We can meet outside of Junkman's Daughter and grab some food/drinks from one of the many great places. Beware of the homeless people who roam around Little 5. They are harmless and won't hurt you, but they will beg you for every cigarette you have.

There is nothing better than spending a nice, sunny day in one of Atlanta's most beautiful parks. There is a lot to do in this area to include the World of Coke, the Georgia Aquarium, and the CNN center. There are also a lot of places to eat, drink and hangout.

The evening plans are still open. There are plenty of places to enjoy the nightlife in Atlanta, and we can decide on exact plans as the date comes closer.

June 28th

Everyone from out of town will probably be catching a plane home on this day. We will see how things look and plan accordingly.
