I got one gig a few weeks ago, no idea when that's to be completed, and a whole bunch ages ago that are still.... in development? That's the real crutch of being a VA, you're at the mercy of the animator, so you just gotta hope to god they don't quit on you (had that happen way too many times)
Yeah, that is always the hardest part. Waiting for something that is never going to be made...
I've contacted a number of people about voice stuff in the past and maybe 50 percent of the time they say they're up for it and then just drop out without any warning. Apparently that's a pretty common occurrence among my other animator buds. I think one of you more prominent voice guys really ought to put together some sort of union so we can get an idea of who's really legit.
Interesting idea, I wouldn't know how to start to regulate that in a way that wouldn't take all my time. I am however, legit.
