Things I Don't Understand About Newgrounds!

I have 259 fans. For that I am thankful... maybe one day ill be graced with 260. Maybe...

I bring that up because for all intensive purposes I am not the greatest or most talented person here on Newgrounds. I know, hard to believe. I have 259 fans despite my own submissions. HOWEVER, comma, I DO NOT UNDERSTAND how I have more fans than ReNaeNae!!! This is a user who is actually VERY talented and does A LOT for the community! She hosts things and creates things and even won user of the year! WTF Newgrounds? Lets start follow Friday early and show some love!

More things I don't understand:

I owe a lot of my fan getting to Carbonwater. He is a very talented and funny dude, but why is he sitting with only 365 fans!? If you want an experience like no other here on Newgrounds then you should follow this dude! His stuff is awesome and funny and has the right mix of nerd and nostalgic that is just great.

Show some love Newgrounds.... show some love.

Here are some more people you should follow just because?
horsenwelles - I refuse to call him that... he will be Dante... He has been around for awhile now and has put some interesting projects together. Some of the stuff is off the wall, but a lot of it is just fun!

LeTravino - This kid is still rough around the edges, but I think as time goes on he is going to make a lot of great things.

CrazyRock- Yeah, he posts a lot of spam, but some of his stuff has some funny ideas in it. The TomFulp video he made with Dante is just old school Newgrounds fun! Guy has some potential and I am excited to see where it goes.

I have some more people but ill leave it at this for now. TRUST ME, if you want to expand your experience here on Newgrounds then follow some of these lesser know people. It is really worth it.

I have to agree with you on what you say about ReNaeNae. Her artwork and collab activity on this site is pretty boss.
Also, because I find it odd...why does she still remain unscouted on the Art Portal?

Agree, it's crazy ReNaeNae doesn't have more fans yet, since she hangs around the chat more than the forums maybe people don't get to click her profile link as often, who knows... I'm a fan though, of you too, of Carbonwater also, turns out I'm also following horsenwelles (AKA Dante), wooo... but as for the other two... time will tell. I usually follow someone if I relate strongly to something they done, admire them greatly or stumble upon more than one of their submissions that I appreciate. Already following over 800 users so that 'new submissions' box is getting a bit flooded...

Has a lot to do with different factors - I for one have more fans than some really fantastic artists and sadly more than TheInterviewer, as direct comparison as we do similiar stuff.

In my case, I was more active on the forums and a good portion of my "fans" are Newgrounds friends of mine. As simple as it sounds but it's kind of easy to oversee amazing artists as we have so many.

All of the users you linked to were already on my fav list, by the way ^^

I question how I even have almost 200 fans. I clearly don't deserve that much, especially not now seeing as my activity dropped. I think half of them were from my flash animations that I did but even then better attention is paid elsewhere on here.

Blordow called it. I have way more fans than I deserve, and yet simultaneously I wouldn't expect anyone to really know who I am, likely due to my involvement in video game parodies. I love the dudes I worked with and it's not like I dislike having been part of those projects or anything, but it was a pretty simple formula where I could know if it had a pokeball on the thumbnail that I'd be getting front page exposure.

The fact that I was made fun of for liking Pokémon as a kid and how I drifted away from interest in the series because of that, yet here I am NOW with people who only claimed to like me because of it is mind-blowing in its irony, now that I think about it.
